Pancreas (Weird Al)

Lauren found this today, as she is learning about the pancreas in her anatomy class.

Her observation: There can't be many songs with the word "duodenum" in them.

I've always liked the Japanese word for strawberry: いちご (ichigo).

California Wildflowers

On the way home from work, I heard a story on NPR about the blooming wildflowers at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The desert lily is incredible.
